Jenna Dewan will be sticking to the supernatural after her upcoming stint in American Horror Story: Asylum: The actress has landed a lead role on Lifetime’s new pilot Witches of East End, TVLine reports.

Dewan, the wife of Channing Tatum, will play Freya Beauchamp, a “sexy and fearless former wild child” who’s the daughter of Julia Ormond’s witch Joanna. The show is set in North Hampton and tells the story of Freya and her sister, who are unaware that they have magic powers until Freya becomes engaged to a rich philanthropist and their mother is forced to tell them about their gifts.

Jenna Dewan joins American Horror Story

Lifetime ordered the Witches of East End pilot earlier this summer for 2013. It’s based on the best-selling novel by Melissa de la Cruz.

Dewan will next be seen on American Horror Story: Asylum, playing the girlfriend of Adam Levine’s character.

American Horror Story has finally found the other half of “The Lovers,” a major couple on the series, to act opposite Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. EW has learned exclusively thatStep Up star—and Channing Tatum’s wife—Jenna Dewan will play the pivotal role.

Season two of AHS has been shrouded in secrecy, aside from the reveal of its star-studded cast that also includes Jessica Lange, James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, Chloe Sevigny and French actress Lizzie Brochere.

Production has already begun on the series’ second season and is slated to air in October on FX. The first season of AHS just recently garnered a whopping 17 Emmy nominations, tied for the most this year with Mad Men and a record for FX.
